When you create a sign or slide in the new digital signage system, you become the owner. In order to allow other people to edit these items you will need to add them as owners. The following will show you where in signage.chapman.edu you can add other Chapman members. Add and removing owners will email them letting them know the change.
Adding Additional Owners to Slides.
Step One: Select the Slide. When you navigate to the slide tab in the system, and click on the slide you want to add an owner, it will present you with a menu. Select the “more info” option.
Adding Additional Owners to Signs.
Step One: Select the Sign. When you navigate to the “signs” tab in the system, you will see a list of your signs. Simple click on the sign name to get to the specific sign details. Note: The edit button leads you to a different screen.
Step Two: Add Owner. On the sign’s detail page, you will see an “add owner” field. You can type in any Chapman email address and add them as an owner, which gives the control of the sign. These individuals can edit the slide and are email when someone is requesting slides be put up on the screen. you can review the approval process here.
